Austrian classical music impresario Glatz Concert Productions stages a massive, simultaneously-performed New Year’s Day gala celebration in 20 North American cities called Salute to Vienna! showcasing hundreds of European classical singers, dancers and orchestras. Modeled after the traditional Viennese Neujahrskonzert, the sumptuous and logistically complex festival is in its 20th year of playing to sold out audiences in every prestigious classical music venue in North America, from Lincoln Centre in New York, Symphony Centre in Chicago, Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, Roy Thomson Hall in Toronto and Dade County Arts Centre in Miami to name a few.
